From beans to belonging
We've been about belonging since day one. Our mission has always been about more than serving great coffee, it's about creating spaces of belonging, offering mentoring, growing community, and building pathways to purpose.
The gates are open
After nine years behind a locked gate, the old Kyneton Primary School is in use again. Right now its rooms are hung with student art, and we are publishing updates as the project takes shape.

What we do
The café is the front door. Behind it is hands-on training, life-skills, and a growing community that helps people find their place and purpose.
Hands-on hospitality training program in work-skills and life-skills for young people facing barriers to work.
We walk with young people growing into community life, building skills, confidence and a genuine second chance.

It costs us around $2,170 to check, induct and train one young person. Our program is 100% free for our trainees, so every coffee, every shift, every gift helps someone find their feet.
